Here it is!! Recipe number one! The most important one to make edibles! Woot!!!

Cannabutter Recipe

Decarbing Your Cannabis

Let’s start by talking about decarbing your cannabis. This step is very important. It activates the THC in your weed, so it can infuse the fat (oil, butter, etc) and be used in recipes.

In-store we have a Magical Butter Decarb box. This thing is legit. It’s made from silicone and is smell proof. You add your ground up cannabis to the box, place the lid on and add the thermometer, then bake for 3 hours at 170 F.

The box helps contain the smell if you wish to be discrete. If you don’t mind your entire house smelling then you can also
use an oven safe dish covered in tin foil.

Add The Fat

After the 3 hours, you can remove the cannabis from your oven, pour into a mason jar, you can add you butter, coconut, olive oil, etc…. whatever one you like!! I personally use coconut oil. You can never go wrong with butter though!

Place In Water Bath

Place lid on jar securely and place in a crockpot with enough water to cover the jar contents. Put the lid on the slow cooker and let sit on low for 10-12 hours. Keep it on low! If you rush the progress by cranking the heat up, you will lose lots of THC and you edibles won’t be as potent.

Strain

After the water bath, remove jar with a cloth or an oven mitt. Strain contents with a fine mesh strainer. You can push the cannabis down and get all the oil out. Ta-Da you just made cannabutter/oil!!

Other Options

If this is too long of a process for you,
we have a Mighty Fast Herbal Infuser! It will infuse oils or butter in 45mins, no smell!! Waaaayyyyyy faster and easier!

Usage

I use about 7 grams of dried cannabis per pound or 16 Oz of butter or oil. Its nice and potent this way. You can use more or less, it’s all up to you!

Use the oil or butter as a replacement in almost any recipe. Please remember to label all edibles and tell people before you give them to anyone! Keep locked up and away from children.

Happy Consuming,

<3 PEP
